What is the WDMA?
The Warringah District Medical Association (WDMA) is a community of specialists and general practitioners working in Northern Sydney and the Northern Beaches. The association aims to provide a friendly basis whereby specialists and general practitioners can meet for social interaction and education.
The WDMA has been in operation for more than 110 years now and has associations with the Australian Medical Association (AMA) as well as other medical associations Sydney (Ku-ring-gai Association and the Nepean Association).
The WDMA has played a role in representing the views of local medical practitioners on political issues.

When do we meet?
There are five dinner meetings per year. These meetings are social and educational.
Educational Grants/ Sponsorship from companies involved in the medical health care field ensure a pleasant venue for the meeting and assist with the cost of the meeting.
Each meeting has 3-5 speakers giving concise, informative updates in their area of expertise.
Attendees are a mixture of practising medical colleagues (GP's and specialists).
The general dinner meeting days are 3rd Thursday night in March, May, July, September, November
